Matt Kuchar has gained the nickname “Mr. Consistency” on the PGA Tour over the last few years since switching to a Bettinardi putter. Since 2012, Matt has earned over $25.2 million dollars and counting, while missing only 3 cuts in 81 professional starts.
After winning the 2019 Sony Open in Hawaii, Matt notched his 100th top ten finish, a truly remarkable accomplishment for the veteran Tour staff. The Sony Open win marked his 9th PGA Tour win.
At the age of 40. Matt Kuchar started the 2018-2019 season off by winning the Mayakoba Golf Classic, posting a -22 under winning scorecard, tying a PGA Tour Tournament record, followed by his win at the Sony Open in January, becoming the first player in the new season to win twice. Matt was the 4th player in 2018 to win a PGA Tour event over the age of 40. In 2020, Matt continued to prove his success winning in impressive fashion on the Asian Tour, taking home the Singapore Open and winning the QBE Shootout with his son.
